Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
RDCP Electrical is committed to supporting the responsible management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

The WEEE Regulations were introduced to reduce the environmental impact of electrical and electronic products by encouraging their reuse, refurbishment, and recycling, while minimising the amount of waste sent to landfill.
Electrical and electronic equipment often contains materials that can be harmful to the environment if not disposed of correctly. When these products are sent to landfill, they can contribute to soil and water contamination and pose risks to both ecosystems and human health. By ensuring products are collected, treated, and recycled responsibly at the end of their lifecycle, valuable materials can be recovered and reused, helping to conserve natural resources and reduce waste.

Free lamp and tube recycling
Our group branches are authorised waste carriers and we’re committed to supporting the responsible recycling of electrical products.

We offer a free lamp recycling service for customers who purchase lamps from us, ensuring they are collected and disposed of in accordance with current environmental regulations. This service helps reduce waste, prevent harmful materials from entering landfill, and supports a more sustainable approach to electrical product disposal. Energy saving survey
RDCP Electrical works with trusted specialist partners to help customers identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Through on-site consultations and expert assessments, we can recommend practical solutions that optimise energy performance across a wide range of applications.
Our energy efficiency services include support for pumps, fans, ventilation systems, and compressors through the specification and installation of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), as well as Power Factor Measurement and Correction to improve electrical efficiency and reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
We also provide comprehensive lighting surveys, showcasing the latest energy-efficient luminaires, LED technologies, and lighting control solutions.
